  • Day 1 Arrive Chengdu
     
    Upon arrival, your local guide will greet you at the airport or train station, holding a sign with your name. Enjoy a private transfer to your hotel with an English-speaking local Expert Guide.

    Day 2 Chengdu Panda Base, Sanxingdui Ruins, Wuhou Temple, Jinli Ancient Street
     
    Start your day with an unforgettable encounter at Chengdu Panda Base, a world-renowned sanctuary dedicated to the preservation of these beloved creatures. Witness the enchanting spectacle of pandas of all ages as they frolic, feed, and nurture their young. After lunch, immerse yourself in history with a visit to the Sanxingdui Ruins. This ancient site boasts extraordinary bronze sculptures, intricate gold artifacts, and mysterious relics that offer a tantalizing glimpse into a lost civilization. Visit Wuhou Temple, an ancestral temple commemorating heroes from the state of Shu during the Three Kingdoms period. End your day with a stroll along Jinli Ancient Street, a bustling street dating back to the Qin Dynasty. Admire the charming old buildings and explore diverse shops selling fascinating handicrafts.

    Day 3 Leshan Giant Buddha - Mingshan Temple - Overnight at Dazu
     
    Transfer to Leshan Giant Buddha (approx. 180 kilometers, around 2 hours). The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Leshan Giant Buddha is a 1,300-year-old, colossal statue carved into Mt. Lingyun, considered the largest stone Buddha in the world and the tallest pre-modern statue. The statue sits at the junction of three rivers and faces Mount Emei. It depicts Maitreya Buddha, sitting calmly with heavy-lidded eyes gazing across the river. Then, delve into the ancient Mingshan Temple, a real-life scene of Black Myth: Wukong. Woven into the very fabric of the mountain alongside the temple, a breathtaking collection of 63 intricate stone statues is carved into the surrounding mountain cliffs, each depicting a figure of profound spiritual significance – Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Vajrapani, and Arhats.

    Day 4 Dazu Rock Carvings, Ciqikou Ancient Town, Hongya Cave
     
    Morning visit to the Dazu Rock Carvings, a real-life scene of Black Myth: Wukong. Dazu Rock Carvings is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its intricate Buddhist and Taoist sculptures carved into the cliffsides. Explore the thousands of statues that depict a wide range of religious and historical themes. Next, visit Ciqikou Ancient Town, offering a glimpse into traditional Chinese life with its well-preserved architecture, bustling markets, and vibrant atmosphere. Wander through the narrow cobblestone streets, visit ancient temples, and enjoy delicious local cuisine. End the day at Hongya Cave, a unique attraction nestled within the cliffs of the Yangtze River. Explore the ancient village carved into the cliff face, offering stunning views of the river and the surrounding city.

    Day 5 Wulong Karst Geological Park
     
    Transfer to Wulong Karst Geopark (approx. 200 km, about 2.4 hours). Wulong Karst Geopark, located in southeastern Chongqing near the Wujiang River, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Renowned for its stunning karst formations, including giant sinkholes, natural bridges, and caves, the park showcases the Earth's geological wonders. Must-see formations include Furong Cave, Three Natural Bridges, and Houping Giant Doline, all shaped by the region's unique geological history.

    Day 6: Depart Chongqing
     
    Transfer to the airport or railway station for your departure flight/train with a private vehicle and English-speaking guide. If you need any further assistance, such as booking train tickets or arranging travel to other cities, please contact your travel consultant.

    Important Notice
    We suggest reconfirmation in advance if only one person request this tour!  In our join-in group tours with fixed departure dates, you will share tour guide and tour bus service with other participants. Our local guide will be speaking English during his/her service. 
     
    Bookings
    When you book please provide detailed information of your full names, passport numbers, telephone number, etc. The information must be correct, actual and valid. We will check availability for your required departing date. If your required tour is available we will then reply with confirmation details.
    Cancellations and Refunds
    We will charge you cancellation fee if you would like to cancel your tour after your booking is confirmed. Please see details as below:
     
    Period before starting day of the tour Cancellation fee per person
    45 days or more before arrival and air tickets are not issued 15% of the full payment
    44-16 days before arrival 25% of the full payment
    15-7 days before arrival 40% of the full payment
    within 7 days before arrival 50% of the full payment
     
    Refund will be by the same means you pay. If you pay online or offline by credit card, refund will take at least one month. You can consult your bank for refund progress details.
    Responsibility
    We will arrange for you to receive the services that you choose and that we confirm. These services will be provided either directly by us or through independent suppliers contracted by us. We are responsible for making sure that each part of the tour you book with us is provided to a reasonable standard and as was advertised by us, or as changed and accepted by you.
     
    The responsibility of us and its affiliated companies are strictly limited. We shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or failure to act of any suppliers such as those of surface, air, and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/hotel accommodations, or of any third party not directly owned or operated by us. If airline or cruise company change or cancel a flight/cruise, we will push the airline and cruise company to work out a solution, to change another flight/cruise for you. In this case we reserve the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities, or adjust the days in related cites but will ensure same arrival date in Beijing and same departing date in Shanghai. In either case, there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
     
    By utilizing the travel services of the suppliers, you agree that you will look to such suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you, and that neither we nor any representative of us shall be liable. 
     
    We reserve the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality, flights, or cruise ships. 
     
    Our local tour guides may arrange some souvenir shop visits during the tour. For every single group, local guide may adjust the shops described in the itinerary to meet the group members’ interest and demand. However, such visits will be strictly limited to only once in each city, unless extra shopping visits are required by group members.
     
    Please understand that not all museums and attractions are open every day of the year. We reserve the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that will enable you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be maintained to the extent possible and there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
