Tour Introduction

The Yabuli Ski Resort is currently not only the biggest but also the best ski resort in China. With a total investment of over 210 million U.S. dollars, the Yabuli Ski Resort offers first-class water, electrical and communication system including fixed line optical fiber communications between Yabuli and major interchange points and a state of the art mobile telephone network that allows you to make both local and international calls virtually anywhere in the region. The 3800 meters long main skiing trail is located at an altitude of 1300m with cable car lifts. The whole resort is surrounded by imposing mountain ranges lavishly covered with pine forests. There is a spectacular view from the ridges and wild animals are also frequently sighted in the resort. In February 1996, the Yabuli Ski Resort hosted the third Winter Asian Games as the biggest winter sports event ever held in China.

Day 1: Arrival in Harbin, Meet & Greet at Airport, Transfer to Hotel

Our GCT representative will meet you at the airport and assists you to your hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2: Harbin, Ice & Snow World, Sun Island, Central Street, Sofia Church

Meals Included: Breakfast & lunch

We will start our Harbin tour from the Ice & Snow World where artists from China, and around the world, gather together to create a galaxy of ice and snow sculptures, which look even more beautiful when lit up in the evening. Later will visit the famous Sun Island. In winter seasons this island becomes a wonderful snow world with many snow sculptures of various sizes. After lunch we will visit Harbin's landmark building, the Sofia Church which is the largest Easter Orthodox Church in the Far East. It was constructed in the typical Byzantine architectural style with a huge dome. From Sophia Church we will walk to the Center Street. This street was originally built in 1898 and is a 1,450-meter-long art gallery of European architectural complex.

Day 3: Take Train to Yabuli, Ski at Yabuli

Upon arrival at Yabuli, we will be transfered to hotel for check-in. Afternoon will be free for you to ski at the ski. 

Day 4: Ski at Yabuli

Day 6: Take Train to Harbin, Transfer to Harbin Airport

After breakfast, we will take a train back to Harbin and then transfer to the airport for our homeward flight. However, should you wish to stay on rather than return home right away, we would suggest you choose our other Tour Packages as an extension to your China adventure!

Important Notice

Ski resorts in China have entrance fee which is around CNY20 (USD3) per person. They will charge you this amount of money no matter you ski or not at the entrance. Besides entrance fee, you also need to purchase ski tickets which is based on hours. Please purchase insurance when you buy ski tickets. GCT is not responsible for any incidents happened during your ski.

The Yabuli Broadcast International Hotel is located in Yabuli Ski Resort, the national AAAA level scenic spot. On offer here are various spacious and comfortable rooms. Totally there are 109 rooms and suites, each of which is equipped with digital TV and internet access, with 24-hr service. Some of them command splendid snowy mountain views. When it comes to dining, there is a banquet hall seating 180 and six private dining rooms.
