Day 1: Arrival in Guilin, Meet & Greet at Airport, Transfer to Hotel

Our GCT representative will meet you at the airport and assists you to hotel. Relax during the remainder of the afternoon and evening to recover from the jet lag.

Day 2: Guilin, Li River Cruise, Yangshuo West Street

Meals Included: Breakfast & lunch

Guilin is a city with over 2,000 years of history and it is world famous for its serene landscapes and mysterious limestone formations mist covered hills and bamboo groves. The region boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, and is one of the most photographed areas of China. The cruise that we are going to take today from Guilin to Yangshou, following an 83 km long belt of strange landforms, is like traveling along a traditional Chinese Painting. You may be also in luck and seeing the ospreys catching fish on the river. Upon arrival in Yangshuo we will stroll along the famous West Street. 

Day 3: Yangshuo, Free at Leisure, Drive to Guilin

Today we will explore Yangshuo on our own. We may hire a bicycle enjoying the breathtaking scenery around the town or wonder along the West Street doing some shopping or having a pot of tea in a sidewalk cafe. Back to Guilin we in the afternoon will climb the Fubo Hill where will have a bird-eye-view of the city.

Day 4: Guilin, Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill, Departure from Guilin

Meals Included: Breakfast & lunch

 

In the morning we will visit the Reed Flute Cave and Fubo Hill. The Reed, Flute Cave got its name from the verdant reeds growing outside it, with which people make flutes. Inside this water-eroded cave is a spectacular world of various stalactites, stone pillars and rock formations formed by carbonate deposition. Illuminated by colored lighting, the fantastic spectacle is found in many variations along this 240-meter-long cave. Transfer to the airport based on your departure flight. However, should you wish to stay on rather than return home right away, we would suggest you choose our other Tour Packages as an extension to your China adventure!

Day 2: Live Show on Li River of Impression Liu Sanjie, USD45 per person

Impression Liu Sanjie, directed by the China's most famous movie director Zhang Yimou, is an outdoor performance on the natural stage setting formed by the Li River and 12 peaks. This performance depicts the beautiful scenery of the Li River and the colorful culture of the ethnic groups in Guangxi by creatively combining the classical Liu Sanjie's Songs, ethnic minority culture, and the lights of traditional fishermen on the river, to reflect the harmonious atmosphere between human beings and nature. The performance lasts for 70 minutes and over 600 actors and actresses are involved.
