    Tour Introduction
    Morning visit the Great Wall at Badaling for a combination of sightseeing and birding. Stretching for nearly 3000 miles and in some sections more than 2000 years old, the wall is an amazing structure and reputedly the only manmade object visible from space! Ornithological treats could include Chinese Hill Warbler, Père David's Laughingthrush, Yellow-bellied Tit, Chinese Leaf and Spotted Bush Warblers and Godlewski's Bunting. After lunch we'll return toBeijing and visit Xiangshan Park, northwest of the city. We're sure to hear Large Hawk- and Indian Cuckoos and should also see Azure-winged Magpie and perhaps several species of migrants.

Our tour guide will confirm with you on the departure time the night before and meet you in the lobby of your hotel. Payment will be cash upon meeting GCT tour guide.
