Xi’an is one of the birthplaces of the ancient civilization in the Yellow River Basin area of the country. During over 3000 year development, 13 dynasties chose this city as their capital, such as Western Zhou, Qin and Tang. So far,Xi’an enjoys equal fame with Athens, Cairo, and Rome as one of the four major ancient civilization capitals. The continuous history of Xi’an has led to its magnificent culture; consequently Xi’an’s rich cultural relics are the most distinguished attractions to people in and out of China. The Museum of Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses is the most famous attractions in Xi’an, which is called “The Eighth Wonder of the World”. Other well-known attractions in Xi’anare the Drum Tower, the Bell Tower, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda etc. If you have enough time, you will surely explore other attractions in Xi’an.
